SAN JOSE -- The play of goalie Martin Jones is a major reason why the Sharks are heading to Nashville with a two-games-to-none lead.
Jones followed up a 29-save performance from Game 1 with a personal playoff-best 37 saves on Sunday as the Sharks topped the Predators 3-2 in Game 2 of the second round series. Jones is now 6-1 as a playoff starter and has allowed two goals or less in five of his seven games.Several of the Sharks skaters admitted that it was hardly their best performance of the postseason, as the Predators dictated play for a large portion of the second and third periods.Jones stands tall in goal for Sharks
