Jaromir Jagr climbs into tie for fourth on goals list

Jaromir Jagr scored 51 seconds into the game to move into a tie for fourth on the all-time goals list as the host Florida Panthers defeated the Washington Capitals 4-1 on Thursday night.

Jagr deflected Dmitry Kulikov’s long shot from the point into the net. The goal was Jagr’s first since Nov. 21 and the 731st of his career, tying him with Hall of Famer Marcel Dionne.

Wayne Gretzky (894), Gordie Howe (801) and Brett Hull (741) hold the top three spots on the all-time list.
