There are few sure bets in South Lake Tahoe. Stephen Curry’s return to the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament would be one.
The Warriors’ Curry will be making his seventh appearance in the three-round tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, scheduled for July 12-14. Last year he tied for 11th in the 90-plus field of celebrities. According to Harrah’s and Harveys Race and Sports Book, he is a 15-1 favorite to win this year.
For the fifth time Curry will be joined in the tournament by his father, former NBA sharp-shooter Dell Curry. In the past, father and son have made a personal wager against each other in which the loser (and his caddy) have to endure a bracing splash hit — i.
