Hot hands on the ice as series shifts to S.J.

Martin Jones is known around these parts, but only now is the rest of the hockey world starting to take notice.

Following his shutout in Game 2 at St. Louis on Tuesday, Jones’ teammates were asked about “the rookie’s” performance. Jones, of course, shed his rookie status two years ago.

Sharks defenseman Brent Burns played along.

“He’s won a Cup, he’s been through a lot. He won a gold medal last summer. He’s shown he can play in high stress situations,” Burns said. “I know everybody’s been talking about how calm he is.
