San Jose Sharks owner Hasso Plattner has broken his silence, kind of. On Thursday afternoon, Plattner issued a message to Sharks fans everywhere that was posted on the team’s website.
While the statement doesn’t get into too much detail, the biggest takeaway is general manager Doug Wilson will return next season as Kevin Kurz of Comcast Sportsnet reports.

The basic sentiment of the statement is the closest to an official affirmation that Plattner signed off and is on board with the rebuild put into motion by Wilson.
