The San Jose Sharks are joining the #GilroyStrong effort to raise funds for victims of the July 28 shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.
Fans may attend a Monday afternoon meet-and-greet and autograph session in Gilroy with players Logan Couture, Tomas Hertl, Brenden Dillon and Kevin Labanc; former team members Jonathan Cheechoo and Jamie Baker; and Sharks radio play-by-play announcer Dan Rusanowsky.
The Sept. 9 event will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, 74 W. Sixth St.
