If the Sharks thought not having to face Jonathan Quick was a break on Thursday, guess again.
Backup goalie Jhonas Enroth continued his mastery of San Jose, helping deliver a a 4-1 victory for the Kings at SAP Center.
Enroth was 3-0 with a 1.24 goals-against average and .965 save percentage against the Sharks previously with Buffalo and Dallas. He made the most of his debut as a King while the visitors saved Quick for Friday’s game against Carolina.
Enroth saved 39 of 40 shots and spearheaded Los Angeles’ perfect 5-for-5 night on the penalty kill to hand the Sharks a third straight loss while the Kings won a third consecutive game.
