The NHL is sluggishly waking up from its All-Star coma in St. Louis — or elsewhere, as both the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks are also coming off their bye week, so everybody on the ice should have a nice tan, and no, I’m not at all extremely jealous watching their Instagram stories (yes, I absolutely am).
The Ducks took a small two-game winning streak into their off-week, but have hovered in the basement of the standings all season. The Sharks have been no better, coming off a three-game losing streak, over the span of which they only managed to score four goals.
