The precedent has been set for the Sharks to erect a statue for Jo Paw-velski.
OK so there's a far cry between Jo -- who actually goes by Jo Marleau after the Sharks' Patrick Marleau adopted him -- and the cat honored by Russian team Admiral Vladivostok. However, the idea now exists.The KHL organization reportedly built a statue in honor of a kitty named Matroskin, who became famous in Vladivostok after eating over $1,000 worth of seafood in the city's airport market.Since that incident in 2014 the cat was adopted by Admiral and lived in the team's arena.
