Three years ago this May, the San Jose Sharks and the St. Louis Blues met in the Western Conference Final. Right now, these two teams are both firing on all cylinders down the stretch and could find themselves in another playoff meeting this summer.
Both teams are surging at the right time. The Sharks (40-19-8) have 88 points and are second in the Pacific Division. More importantly, they have moved within one point of the Calgary Flames for the top spot in the Western Conference.
The Blues (36-25-6) have 78 points this season.
