It’s not just the Vegas Golden Knights who may be dealing with an outbreak of coronavirus.
After two periods in tonight’s preseason game between the Henderson Silver Knights (Vegas’ new AHL affiliate) and the San Jose Barracuda, the game was unexpectedly suspended. An announcement made in-arena said that the rest of the game would not continue due to COVID-19 protocols.
It is currently unknown which team is responsible for the COVID protocols kicking in, though the Henderson coaching staff filled in at the NHL level on Wednesday, after Vegas’ coaching staff turned up two positive tests and were placed in isolation.
