Quincy Amarikwa’s incredible chip goal scored in the 2-1 victory against the Portland Timbers on Sunday, March 13 is in the semifinals for MLS Goal of the Year. Catching goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey off his line, Amarikwa launched a 40-yard chip up and over the keeper and into the top corner of the goal. ‘The Chip’ is up against Colorado’s Shkelzen Gashi’s free kick scored against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
