WATCH: Quakes introduce new signees Urena and Cummings

The Earthquakes introduced their two newest player acquisitions on Saturday, striker Marcos Urena and defender Harold Cummings.

Urena was brought in to help bolster a floundering Quakes offense that finished last in Major League Soccer in goals scored last season. Cummings was acquired to help shore up San Jose’s central defense.

Urena, 26, was signed Friday to a multiyear contract using targeted allocation money. He is expected to provide help by complementing the team’s offensive star Chris Wondolowski.

“It’s a lot of responsibility but it doesn’t scare me,” Urena said of the expectations.
