Following back-to-back road contests, the Earthquakes returned to the training field Monday to prep for their first home game in May. With a short turnaround from Saturday’s match at Seattle, some players endured more rigorous training than others and an injured player made his return in their small-sided scrimmage.
After the game Saturday, players who logged heavy minutes did some light training, while the rest of the team played a small game. Midfielder Cordell Cato joined in the action after missing the Earthquakes first 10 games due to a right hamstring injury.
Holidays can be tough when you are a professional athlete, but several Earthquakes players still found ways to do something special for their moms for Mother’s Day.
