San jose spotlight: From Spartan to Avaya, SJPD’s JJ Vallejo Knows the City & Club

JJ Vallejo is an officer for the SJPD and a San Jose native, currently residing in South San Jose. His story with the Quakes encompasses the lifetime of the team, and is told ahead of this Saturday’s South San Jose Neighborhood Night.

Few people have been fortunate enough to see the evolution of the Quakes from the early days of playing at Spartan Stadium to the modern era at Avaya.

Juan “JJ” Vallejo, a San Jose Earthquakes Season Pass Holder and resident of South San Jose, is one of those lucky few. As a freshman at San Jose State University, SJSU, in 1997, he worked at the ticketing booth at Spartan Stadium, selling tickets for the San Jose Clash, SJSU football and SJSU soccer.
