SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes defeated their USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC 4-0 Saturday afternoon at Avaya Stadium in a preseason matchup.
Earthquakes forward Danny Hoesen and Designated Player Magnus Eriksson both notched a brace during the contest. The goals marked Eriksson’s first tallies in a Quakes uniform. Chris Wondolowski and Vako were each credited with an assist.
San Jose returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 17, when the Quakes travel to Irvine, Calif. to take on the rival LA Galaxy at Orange County Great Park.
