In a state of complete fearlessness, 26-year-old local man James Wilder announced Saturday afternoon that he would attend the Quakes match against D.C. United without a jacket.
Despite warnings from friends, who stated that they will come dressed in coats, scarves and hats, Wilder was spotted denying their advice to “at least wear a long sleeved shirt” on multiple occasions.
“It’s pretty hot out today, I’ll be fine in this,” said Wilder Saturday afternoon while wearing faded jeans and a gray San Jose State University t-shirt with hole in the seam.
At press time, Wilder was seen leaving the Quakes Team Store sporting a black parka.
