We’re getting close now. The Sharks have just 13 regular season game remaining. The playoffs begin in a month. You know what that means.
It’s time to get wildly speculative about what lies ahead come mid-April.
Last year, the Sharks jumped up from the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference to reach the Stanley Cup Final. This year, they have all but assured themselves of winning the Pacific Division, sit No. 3 in the conference and are chasing down the current top two seeds, Chicago and Minnesota.
By that measure, this Shark team is better than last year’s team But does it really break down that way when you examine the roster, top to bottom?
