NEWS: Two Earthquakes Players Obtain Green Cards

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that defender Marcos Lopez and midfielder Judson have both obtained Green Cards, becoming permanent residents of the United States. The two players will no longer count as internationals on the Quakes’ roster.

Lopez, 21, is entering his third season with San Jose. He has tallied two goals and three assists in 31 MLS appearances, making 26 starts. Lopez has made four appearances for the Peru National Team.

Judson, 27, is also entering his third season with San Jose. The Arês, Brazil native has made 48 MLS appearances, including 43 starts, scoring one goal and earning the club’s 2020 Defensive Player of the Year award.
