SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club will host First Responders Night when they host Minnesota United FC on Saturday, March 9, presented by 7UP.
The match will be dedicated to honoring our first responders who courageously fought the fires in Butte County and Paradise, Calif.
Upon arriving at Avaya Stadium for the event, fans are welcome to take photos with first-responder vehicles. Ahead of kickoff, local first responders will perform the National Anthem which will be accompanied by a color guard presentation.
Following the match, the San Jose Police Department and San Jose Fire Department will take the field to compete in the second-ever First Responder Cup.
