SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes Academy midfielder/defender Jean-Julien Foe Nuphaus is among 24 players called to a nine-day United States U-17 National Team camp held at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon from Aug. 5-13.
The camp, which will serve as a preparation stage for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, marks the second domestic gathering for the U-17 MNT since they qualified for the World Cup at the CONCACAF U-17 Championship. The camp will include two friendlies against Chile, runners-up in the South American U-17 Championship earlier this year.
Foe Nuphaus, 17, has previously been called up by the United States at the U-15 and U-17 levels.
