Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at BC Place. The match marks the first time the Earthquakes will travel to Canada this season.
The Earthquakes were nearly unbeatable in August last season with a 4-1-1 record and have continued that success into 2016. After opening the month with a scoreless draw against New York City FC, they are undefeated in their last five games in August dating back to last season. The club’s 40 total wins in the month of August are the most in any month.
With a win against Vancouver, the Earthquakes would position themselves for a playoff run by eclipsing their Western Conference foes in the standings.
