Marcos Lopez likely available for San Jose Earthquakes’ game Saturday

The San Jose Earthquakes saw three players go on international duty recently, with Marcos Lopez joining Peru for South American World Cup qualifying and Vako and Guram Kashia part of the Georgia set-up for Euro 2020 playoffs and UEFA Nations League matches.

The team weathered their absence pretty well, going 2-1-1 while the trio was away. But good news, as Lopez is expected to be available for selection on Saturday for their game against the Vancouver Whitecaps in Portland, after successfully making it through quarantine after returning to the United States.

Prior to heading out on international duty, Lopez started the previous eight games for San Jose and found his best form since joining the club last year.
