The San Jose Earthquakes snapped out of a long slump last weekend with a comeback win over LAFC, and now they’ll try to pick up another three points, when they host the LA Galaxy in the latest edition of the California Clasico Saturday night.
Yes, the Quakes won for the first time in a few months, but with nearly a full week between games they’ve gotten some rest and some time to properly train. I expect it to provide a boost, although the Galaxy got the same conditions, so both teams could be improved as a result of just not having to play every three or four days, for once.
