Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski has become known for scoring goals – well, maybe that’s a slight understatement. He has 123 career goals in MLS, 116 of which have come since 2010.
While 2017 hasn’t seen Wondolowski pile up goals left and right, at least not yet, his intelligence and team-first mentality have resulted in assists at a record clip for the 13-year veteran. His four assists have already equaled the second highest total of his career (2014) and are just three shy of his career-high seven back in 2012. That season, Wondolowski didn’t tally his fourth assist until July 14.
