FEATURE: Several Quakes Academy Products Compete in 2018 Men’s College Cup

The San Jose Earthquakes were well represented at the 2018 Men’s College Cup, with seven former academy players earning minutes during the tournament that concluded last weekend:

Senior midfielder Alex Valencia started and played 46 minutes in New Hampshire’s 1-0 loss to Colgate in the First Round.

Junior defender John-Austin Ricks started and played 56 minutes in Syracuse’s 3-1 loss to eventual runner-up Akron in the Second round.

Junior goalkeeper Remi Prieur started and played 90 minutes in St. Mary’s 1-0 win over Oregon State in the Second Round and started and played 110 minutes in the scoreless penalty shootout loss to Stanford in the Third Round.
