He may be just a sophomore at Georgetown University, but that hasn’t stopped former Earthquakes Academy goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski from gaining national recognition between the pipes.
In Will Parchman’s recent article “Top 10 future U.S. national team starting goalkeeper prospects,” Marcinkowski ranks as the 4th best U.S. National Team starting goalkeeper prospect 25 years old and under.
The only players ranked ahead of Marcinkowski are Columbus Crew SC’s Zack Steffen, D.C. United’s Bill Hamid, and Molde’s Ethan Horvath. The Hoyas’ netminder also edged out New England Revolution’s Cody Cropper and Sporting Kansas City’s Jon Kempin on the list.
