On November 28, 2016, the soccer world was shocked to learn that the plane carrying Associação Chapecoense de Futebol had crashed on their way to the final of the Copa Sudamericana, killing all but 6 of the 77 passengers on board.
Tonight, a documentary film called Nossa Chape will show at AMC Mercado in Sunnyvale which covers the rebuilding of a club that was left with only three surviving players after the horrific incident.
