The San Jose Earthquakes celebrated the Evergreen neighborhood as part of the 2018 Neighborhood Night Series, presented by Wells Fargo, at the match on May 5 against the Portland Timbers.
As part of the celebrations, the Quakes recognized three members of the Evergreen neighborhood in San Jose for their service to their community: Stacy Le, Brigitte Parman and Sukhdev Singh Bainiwal. Councilwoman Sylvia Arenas of San Jose District 8 presented the honorees at the match.
Le is the council assistant for San Jose District 8, and played a key role in organizing activities in the Evergreen neighborhood ahead of the match, including the Lake Cunningham Bike Park Opening, Evergreen Community Center Neighbor Night and Quakes Free Play day clinic, presented by VHP.
