SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will stand with Orlando City SC to support and honor the city of Orlando, Florida after the recent tragic events over the past week with a series of fundraisers and tributes.
During the Quakes' match against Orlando City SC on Saturday evening, all Quakes players will wear black armbands in memory of the victims and also wear Orlando Pride patches to show support for the LGBTQ community that was targeted in the violence. Additionally, the team will enter the field wearing Orlando Pride shirts.
The Earthquakes and the San Jose Ultras supporters’ group have partnered to raise money for the victims and their families through the OneOrlando Fund.
