Earthquakes' strikers take on New York Red Bulls

SAN JOSE -- Earthquakes star Chris Wondolowski has done well to score 41 goals despite a revolving door of forwards to support him in the past three years.

Now the paradigm seems to have shifted with the exceptional play of Quincy Amarikwa, who re-joined San Jose in a trade from Chicago last summer.It has taken the players until this Major League Soccer season to build into a formidable tandem as the Quakes (2-1-2) play host Wednesday night to the struggling New York Red Bulls at Avaya Stadium.Wondolowski is tied with three others as the league's top scorer with four goals while Amarikwa is tied with Joao Plata for second among assist leaders with three apiece.
