Earthquakes settle for a draw after watching lead dissolve on an own goal against FC Dallas

FRISCO, Texas -- The Earthquakes took a second-half lead, only to watch it slip away on an own goal to come away with a 2-2 draw against FC Dallas on Saturday night at Toyota Stadium.

The result left the Quakes at 2-1-2 (8 points) on the young MLS season. Dallas, which began the night with the league's best record, is now 3-1-2 (11 points).The Earthquakes pulled ahead in the 55th minute when striker Chris Wondolowski beat Dallas defender Walker Zimmerman to Quincy Amarikwa's through ball and redirected it past goalkeeper Chris Seitz for a 2-1 lead. The advantage didn't last long.
