The Earthquakes bolstered their midfield with the selection of UCLA’s Jackson Yueill in Friday’s MLS SuperDraft.
A two-time All-Pac-12 first team selection, Yueill is seen as a talented attacking midfielder with tremendous passing skills who still has some room to grow on the defensive side. He was a regular starter on the U-18 and U-20 USA National Teams.
The experience playing abroad at such a young age is something Yueill believes will give him a leg up as he makes the transition to the pro game.
“It’s always a blessing playing for the U.S.,” Yueill said.
