It has not been uncommon, during the Earthquakes pre-season trip to Tucson, to see players out on the training field long after the end of sessions – and Dominic Kinnear believes that could be a sign of good things to come.
“The guys keep staying around!” Kinnear said. “When you see them doing extra after practice, it means either I’m not doing enough or they want more and it’s good to see. We are trying to get them ready for the games, but you can tell they want to improve and work on some aspects of their game.
