ACADEMY UPDATE
This past week, our U-17 and U-19 Boys’ Academy squads traveled to Florida to take on top-tiered competition in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Winter Showcase. The U-19s defeated the Houston Dynamo 3-0, tied D.C. United 0-0 and suffered a 3-2 loss to Saint Louis FC. The U-17s suffered 2-1 losses to both Empire United and Columbus Crew SC, and fell to the Houston Dynamo 4-1.
Back at home, the U-13 and U-14 Boys’ Academy squads took on San Juan SC. The U-13s won 4-0 and the U-14s won 5-1.
The Girls’ Academy will return to action this week when they head to Florida to start their USSDA Winter Showcase campaign.
