Wrigley roars: Cubs advance to first NLCS since 2003

The young stars continued to shine at Wrigley Field. For the first time since 2003, the Chicago Cubs have advanced to the NLCS after beating the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-4 on Tuesday night.

With the victory, the Cubs have now won their first postseason series ever at Wrigley Field.

After one inning, the Cubs trailed 2-0, but roared back with a four-run second inning behind a three-run blast from 22-year-old Javier Baez. The powerful infielder replaced Addison Russell in the starting lineup, who is dealing with a tight hamstring.

Both teams put zeroes on the board until the Cardinals came through with two more runs in the top of the sixth.
