The SF Giants decided to sell at the trade deadline this year. As part of that decision, they moved on from long-time reliever Tyler Rogers by trading him to the New York Mets. While it is sad to see him go, it is possible he will not be gone for very long.
The Giants got a good deal for Rogers. They were able to land two of New York's top 15 prospects in the trade which could make for a fleecing depending on how those prospects turn out. It would not be the first time the Giants have fleeced the Mets in a trade.
