In last night’s excellent recap (that fan still owes him a dollar!), Kenny noted that Alen Hanson now has as many home runs as walks (8). That’s... a cool combination! It’s in the realm of interesting, to be sure. One of those quirks of baseball. It was also Hanson’s second home run since he last drew a walk... which was on July 15th against Oakland.
Yes, that’s right. Alen Hanson hasn’t drawn a walk in nearly two months. Perhaps oddly, that last walk and the four before it all came as a pinch hitter.
