PHILADELPHIA–If you’re hoping to flip on the television Thursday and catch Duane Kuiper or Jon Miller calling the Giants’ series-finale against the Phillies, you’re out of luck.
For the first time this season, the Giants have been selected to play in a game that is broadcast exclusively on Facebook.
Major League Baseball and Facebook announced a partnership to produce and broadcast one game every week to a global audience on the social network. This Thursday’s Giants-Phillies matchup was chosen as the game of the week, so it will not be available on television.
