Two-time Giants world champ rescued at sea after boat capsizes

Former Giants outfielder Angel Pagan had to be rescued at sea off the coast of Puerto Rico on Tuesday after a 15-foot wave knocked over his boat, according to multiple reports.

The 37-year-old Pagan, who won a pair of World Series championship rings with San Francisco, reportedly escaped harm but his friend Orlando Roman, a former minor league teammate with the Mets, was treated for head trauma after the Tuesday morning incident about an hour from San Juan. The former players were also joined on the boat by a minor, who escaped injury according to the website Con Las Bases Llenas.
