MILWAUKEE — Two of the hottest hitting Giants will start Saturday’s game against the Brewers on the bench.
Manager Bruce Bochy decided to leave Alex Dickerson and Austin Slater out of the starting lineup for different reasons.
Dickerson is dealing with back spasms that forced him to exit Friday’s series opener in Milwaukee in the top of the ninth as he was removed for pinch hitter Donovan Solano.
“I’m feeling better, it’s a little bit of a spasm thing that comes and goes,” Dickerson said. “I’ve probably dealt with it every year I think I’ve played professional baseball and going back even in college.
