In 2020, the San Francisco Giants used 45 players. Of those 45, six made their MLB debuts. If you’re wondering, those six were Caleb Baragar, Joey Bart, Luis Alexander Basabe, Dany Jimenez, Joe McCarthy, and Chadwick Tromp.
So if six Giants made their MLB debut in a 60-game season, it’s pretty safe to say that a few will make their debut in a (hopefully) 162-game season in 2021.
But we don’t know who they are yet. The Giants farm is rapidly improving, but they don’t have any player who is knocking on the door of the big leagues.
