Good morning, baseball fans!
The San Francisco Giants aren’t often depicted in feature films. Usually, if being a baseball fan is a prominent part of a character’s personality, the baseball team tends to be from New York or Boston, etc.
However, the Giants will be featured (at least in passing) in the upcoming film “Caught Stealing” by director Darren Aronofsky. The film is set in the 1990s and follows Hank Thompson, who grew up in the Bay Area and ends up getting mixed up in some criminal shenanigans in New York City. A key part of Thompson’s character appears to be that he is a massive Giants fan.
