The San Francisco Giants won 107 games this season, which is incredibly impressive! There are pros and cons to that kind of success, though. The pros are that it is very fun to watch and you get a shot at the playoffs (even if you have to scratch and claw your way to the top of the division). The cons: other teams are going to try to copy your success, and one of the ways they do so is by hiring your staff.
The Texas Rangers have done just that, hiring co-hitting coach Donnie Ecker to be their new bench coach and offensive coordinator.
