The Giants are in Boston today, which means the focus will be entirely on Mike Yastrzemski and his family. Which is good! At this point in a lost season, it’s nice to have things to look forward to, even if they aren’t always on the field. Also, although I am not glad that he is hurt, I am glad that Pablo Sandoval doesn’t have to be at this series and deal with that media circus, which would assuredly be less positive.
Another update about the Boston series is that Madison Bumgarner’s spot in the rotation is being bumped up to pitch in this series.
