The San Francisco Giants are likely going to add a starting pitcher or two before the season starts. And while they’ve admitted a desire to sign a left-hander, they’re not going to turn down a righty if the ... uhh ... right one is available.
According to a report from KNBR’s Mark W. Sanchez, the Giants attended Corey Kluber’s showcase on Wednesday.
Kluber would be a very Giantsy move, but also a super intriguing addition. He’s 34, has only pitched 36.2 innings in the last two years due to injuries, and wasn’t good in those innings.
