On Friday, the San Francisco Giants game against the San Diego Padres was postponed after a player on the Giants tested positive for the coronavirus. Saturday’s game was postponed as well, and the assumption was that Sunday’s game would soon follow.
But will it?
Saturday brought about the best possible news considering the circumstances. The next batch of tests led to a negative result for the player who had originally tested positive, as well as negative tests for everyone else on in the Giants traveling party (and, presumably, the Padres as well).
