Hello and happy Sunday.
The last time we saw Tyler Beede, he was looking much improved at Spring Training for the San Francisco Giants. And then he suffered a UCL injury, and needed Tommy John surgery, which ended his 2020 season before it started.
But we’ll see him in 2021, and it’s safe to say that most Giants fans are looking forward to it. Beede was recently on MLB Network Radio and gave an update on his rehab. He tempered expectations by saying he won’t be ready for Opening Day, but that he’s hoping to be rejoining the team in May, which would give him plenty of time to earn a spot in the rotation, and pitch for most of the year.
