Sunday BP: Tyler Anderson is back on the mound

Hello and happy Sunday one and all.

Tyler Anderson’s last start did not go well. The left-handed pitcher started on Thursday when the San Francisco Giants took on the Seattle Mariners, and failed to record an out in the third inning. He wasn’t pitching well, but was still in line to eat innings: instead, he got ejected, forcing the Giants to go to their bullpen early.

He gets a quick chance to make amends. With Johnny Cueto dealing with lingering hip soreness, Anderson will start Sunday’s finale against the Oakland A’s, just three days after his last, abbreviated start.
