Hello and happy Sunday.
On Saturday, something beautiful happened. Duane Kuiper returned to the broadcast booth for play-by-play duties in the San Francisco Giants game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Giants may have lost, but who cares? Kuip was back after more than a month and a half away as he underwent chemotherapy.
He also apparently didn’t tell Mike Krukow that he would be calling the game, which is just adorable.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Welcome back, Kuip. The Giants have the best broadcasting crew around even without you, but my goodness were you missed, and my goodness is it nice to see (and hear) you.
